Co-Founder and President

Nathalie Stebleton is a Co-Founder and President of Kid Gloves Music whose dedication helped power the company into a force in the music publishing industry.  Ms. Stebleton previously had a behind-the-scenes role with the company as she solidified the foundation for Kid Gloves' phenomenal growth.

She is now pursuing plans aimed at getting more exposure for Kid Gloves' songwriters, composers and producers as the company expands into newly available music mediums.  Through signing larger named artists, providing artists with the opportunity for on-camera appearances and airing music videos in non-traditional retail outlets, Nathalie has continued to strengthen the Kid Gloves brand and bring credibility to its name.

Ms. Stebleton’s entrepreneurial background, business management and legal experience have well prepared her to lead Kid Gloves into these new markets.  Prior to co-founding Kid Gloves Music, her experience in the entertainment industry included extensive business administration, legal work and accounts management.  During her years at Manatt Phelps and Phillips, she edited a book on copyright law, prepared documents for the entertainment division, edited projects for Disney and assisted in research for larger cases.  She also worked with Capella International, Orion Pictures and worked in the production offices of the movie “Babe.”  In addition to legal work, Nathalie was involved with music licensing, music clearance and negotiating agreements for the American Lung Association.

Ms. Stebleton is a linguist, too.  Before the entertainment industry, she operated her own translation company servicing such high-profile clients as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Tarrant Apparel Group.  Her extensive travel, language and work experience abroad has helped her gain a global perspective and cultural sensitivity to business practices around the world.

Skilled in human resources, Nathalie's other strengths include her ability to build solid relationships with her clients and artists. She recruits new talent for Kid Gloves and seeks ideas that enable the company to find new and exciting outlets for their music.  Her lifelong commitment to music as a powerful means of communication and unifying humanity is reflective in her work on a daily basis.

Co-Founder and CEO

Doug Stebleton is Co-Founder and CEO of Kid Gloves Music.  His passion for music began at the age of 16, subsequently enrolling in the Musicians Institute and graduating with professional guitar credentials. The next fifteen years were spent honing his name and craft in the music publishing business, and building his credit list as a music supervisor.  He founded the film and television departments of multiple companies, built their impressive client roster and was responsible for their phenomenal success.

Through the years, Doug has worked with legendary jazz guitarist and composer Larry Carlton in such TV shows as Beverly Hills 90210 and Oscar winning sound designer Alan Howarth (whose credits include Star Trek I-VI, The Hunt for Red October, Die Hard II and the Mask).

In 1995, Mr. Stebleton signed renowned jazz artist Harvey Mason to a recording deal with Pony Canyon Records and Atlantic Records, which subsequently was nominated for a Grammy (Best Jazz Album of the Year).

In 1996, he wrote and produced a gospel record featuring recording artists Larry Carlton, Abraham Laboriel, Kirk Whalum, Paul Jackson, Jr. and Phil Keaggy.

Doug’s golden ears, creative talents and long-term relationships in the industry contribute to the continual development and solidification of Kid Gloves Music.

Mr. Stebleton’s history and experience as a music supervisor have propelled his creative passions and abilities into production of feature films and documentaries.  He currently has two documentary films in production and one feature film in development.  Doug has been a music industry veteran since 1987 and his background ranges from songwriting and music publishing to story creation and television and film production.  Doug currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife Nathalie and their Siberian Husky.
